Hi,
Does anybody has experiance with large power capacitors. Im restoring an old Luxman amplifier and need to replace old  10,000uF 50V capacitors. I cant tell what original once type is !!
I have checked sheets and there are three types I , II and III
Anybody has experiance to advise which Type to use ?
BTW, the Type I is most expensive

Perhaps worth asking on PFM diy as well.  I've never been inside a luxman.  Rebuilt a Quad 606 few mths back, Used these:  https://uk.farnell.com/kemet/alt22a103cd063/cap-10000-f-63v-alu-elec-solder/dp/9348255 If they'll fit size-wise the 63V would be fine, unless it's a snap in cap.
You could probably get Kendels from Les over and Avondale, but I think he is now favoring Epcos in power supplies.

It's just a thought but you may want to try https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php. I've always found them to be helpful since I'm not an audio guy but work on amps from time to time and this is my go-to forum when I get stuck.
